Aud’s Tips: How to wrap a square or rectangle shape.
Gift wrapping is the act of enclosing a gift in some sort of material. Wrapping paper is a kind of paper designed for gift wrapping. An alternative to gift wrapping is using a gift box or bag. A wrapped or boxed gift may be held closed with ribbon and topped with a decorative bow (an ornamental knot made of ribbon).
I’m always being asked how to wrap gifts so I’ve put together this short video to give you a few pointers.
- Make sure the wrapping paper is the right size, it should be just big enough to cover the gift with a tiny bit extra for folding over the edges for a nice clean finish.
- Fold over and seal with tape.
- Fold over each and seal one at a time.
- Turn the gift over and add ribbon, securing with tape
- Turn over and tie your bow.
