Mothers Day Inspiration

A Valley Living Mothers Day Guide...

According to ‘History.com‘ more phone calls are made on Mother’s Day than ANY OTHER day of the year! I can imagine that is a true fact, but this year how about ringing your mum just to check that she likes her pressie:)

Just think of all the things your mum has done for you, small and large, let her know (with a phone call or a hug) how much she means to you, but also give her a little gift so she can remember how much you love her when you are apart.

Here’s a few ideas, it doesn’t have to cost a lot, it is the thought that counts:

1.Send her some handmade chocolates:

Luckily here at Valley Living we have a few to pick from… Pick some luxury cocoba chocolates- these gorgeous looking, smelling and most importantly tasting chocolates are bound to do the trick!

2. Coasters are used every day around the house, so every time she has a drink ad uses them I’ll bet she will remember who has given them to her:

Now everytime your mum has a cuppa- she’ll remember how thoughtful you are!
These Boat Coasters do just that!

3.    A lovely soft luxurious scarf, so she can wrap up to keep away the chill or dress up her outfit, but she will remember who added that finishing touch….

You just can’t go wrong with a Peony scarf from Valley Living!

4.    A stylish hanging heart for any little hook in the home, a nice loving touch from her children:

"Have nothing in your home that you don't know to be useful or believe to be beautiful."
—William Morris

5.    A Vintage spoon with a heartfelt message from you stamped on it…..

6.    A little tea light, perfect to relax the mood and remember those special memories…

Here at Valley Living we can gift wrap your present to your mum and send it through the post too, so why not take a look through this selection of ideas we have put together to help you choose that perfect gift your your very special Mum
